Hank Green was born on May 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama. His family later relocated to Orlando where he was brought up. In 2006 he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis disease.
He earned his bachelor’s degree at Eckerd College and later masters at the University of Montana. He attained B.S in Biochemistry.
Hank Green is married to Katherine, and together they have a son. He currently resides in Montana along with his family.
Hank started his career in 2007 together with his elder brother. They created the vlogbrothers through which they produced more than a thousand videos, with more than a billion viewers. In 2008, Hank co-founded a recording company known as DFTBA.com. The company distributes merchandise for all types of creators. It is the platform for creators to sell their merchandise.
In 2010, Hank created the world’s largest online video conference known as VidCon. Vidcon has since featured hundreds of creators, thousands of professionals in the industry, fans, and sponsors.
